Today’s experience is going to be different. It’s a workshop, meaning that you will need to set aside a Designated Time Block (DTB) so that you can have time to complete this exercise. Grab a pen, some paper and markers, and find a comfortable place to work. It will give you leaps and bounds of clarity on what’s the most important for you to accomplish and will leave you with a new technique to use in the future. Make sure to bring an open mind and a positive attitude!
Today we will be answering two questions:
What must you do and accomplish in the next five years?
What things must happen for you in the next five years or your life wouldn’t be complete?
Throughout this exercise I’ll be asking you a series of questions to help you unlock your brain. I want you to, without judgment, write down all of the things that come to your mind during this exercise. There is no right and wrong, and just because you wrote something down doesn’t mean you have to keep it.
When answering these questions, make sure to use “I am” statements. Be prepared to set a timer and write down everything that comes to your mind concerning the questions. This isn’t about perfection, and it’s okay to refine your statements later. Sometime over the next day, I want you to review and revisit the list. Evaluate the items you wrote, and see if it resonates on ever level.
After making the list, I want you to take one things from your list and practice visualizing it. Visualize that you are already living your passion. Just imagine that it has already happened. I encourage you to do this daily with different accomplishment on your list.

So I wanted to try something new and different because I really enjoy creating experiences for you, to help you to really take the time and dedicate the time that you need to make your best life. And so therefore what you need today, this is a power workshop.
DFZ (Distraction Free Zone)
DTB (Dedicated Time Block)
Open Mind/Positive Attitude
A DTB is a dedicated time block. So you need time when you can be in your office or in your favorite chair or outside or whatever it is so that you can dedicate the time to go through this workshop. I also need you to come with an open mind, a positive attitude because this is going to be fun and exciting.
TODAY’S QUESTION OF THE DAY…… What must you do and accomplish in the next five years? What things must happen for you in the next five years your life wouldn’t be complete?
So grab your piece of paper and at the top of it, write “what I must accomplish in the next five years”. Now I want you to use this time and I’m going to ask you a series of questions to help you unlock your brain so that I want you to, without judgment, write down all of the things that come to your mind throughout this exercise. There is no right or wrong. Just because you write it down on this page doesn’t mean you have to stick to it, okay?
Already your mind should be churning.
What must you accomplish in the next five years that if you didn’t accomplish these things, your life would be incomplete?
What are those things that really resonate with every cell in your body, that even just reading and writing the words on the paper get you excited?
What things are almost like those bucket list items for you in your life that you must do or your life would be incomplete?
Who will you be as a person?
What will you accomplish or create?
What skills and abilities will you develop?
What relationships will you have?
What results will you create?
***Make sure that you’re using “I am” statements. “I am a powerhouse presence.” “I am a six-figure earner.” “I am going to visit.” “I am visiting Africa.” Use statements that feel really good and get you emotionally charged.***
Set a timer and use the next two minutes to just write down everything that comes out of your brain. No judgment. Put it on the paper, anything that comes.
This exercise is not about perfection. And it’s okay to refine your statements.
And so what I want you to do is later today, tonight, tomorrow, depending on what time of the day it is right now for you, is I want you to review and revisit this list. I want you to evaluate each item you wrote on the list and really just sit with the idea of one of the things you wrote down and see if it resonates on every level, every cell in your body. Like if you get excited, like excited down to the core for this item, must accomplish in the next five years. Like it has to happen, it should be pulling you, pulling you towards it.
So go through and evaluate how much these really pull and get you emotionally charged. Really whittle it down to what are the things you must accomplish. Once you get that together, I need you to print it out. You could type it up, you can frame this. You can make it pretty, you can hand write it. Whatever it is that makes you feel good and honors you. Put it up in a place that you will see it daily. You should be excited when you stand in front of it.
Now, I want you to pull one of the things that you must accomplish in the next five years. Just one thing that really excites you. Go ahead and pick one now. Alright, you’ve got it picked? You’ve got one that you’ve chosen? Now what we’re going to do next is I want you to experience and dive into the power of visualization.
Before you close your eyes, think about the following:
I want you to visualize that you’re already living your passion. That this amazing thing that you wrote down, that you must accomplish the next five years is already here and happening. Visualize yourself. Where do you live? What are you wearing? What are you carrying? What time did you wake up today? What is it like with this amazing thing that you shared and you wrote down and you’re visualizing yourself experiencing right now? What are the smells? What are the sounds around you?
Are there birds chirping? Are there people talking? Are there animals making noise and rustling around? Cars driving, spinning around? Is there a lot of hustle and bustle or is it quiet? What does it smell like? What does it feel like? Experience your accomplishment through your own eyes. Make sure you take a deep breath and just relax. Breathe in real deep for a count of four. One, two, three, four. Hold it for two seconds. One, two. And release it. One, two, three, four. Perfect. Just imagine it as if it’s already happened and it’s here now.
Now close your eyes for a short 5-10 minute visualization.
I encourage you to do this exercise daily and continue to change through your different accomplishments. You’ll be astounded at the things that happen for you in your life if you just practice this. I can’t wait and I’m excited. I want you to share your list with me. Go ahead and send me an email and share your list. Share with friends and family. Share it with people that could potentially help you get to those items on your list. This is something that you can come back to and repeat over and over again. I encourage you to do this quarterly and continue to realign and make sure that these are still the things that you want and you must have in your life. Because if things drop off, then they really aren’t as important as you thought.
